Behind SourceLess is Alexandru Stratulat, born in Romania. Not a typical visionary with glossy slides, but a developer and systems architect. Early on it was clear to him: as long as identity, communication and money sit on separate, central systems, the user stays dependent.
His vision was clear and consistent from the start: an internet in which people truly own and control their own data.

On 27 July, a year before Ethereum launched, Alexandru Stratulat is invited by Mihai Alisie, a co-founder of Ethereum. The idea for a completely new form of transactions is born.
- 2020SourceLess
SourceLess is founded — not as a product idea, but as an answer to a structural problem of the digital age: identity, communication and money belong together.
- 2020–25Building
Building instead of marketing, architecture instead of headlines: blockchain design, security and encryption models, AI integration and the making of a stable financial foundation.
- 10 · 2025Munich
The first SourceLess event at the Munich Showpalast, around 400 participants, ends the pre-launch phase. The concept phase becomes active go-to-market.
- 2026NASDAQ
Active marketing phase with around 9,000 partners and a clear growth agenda — including preparation for a listing on the NASDAQ technology exchange.
